It’s playing time again.

For those of you who might happen to be in Paris this coming weekend let me recommend to you 2 live music events:

Friday, 24/02, 21h30: Tempo du Gecko @ Babalu.

This group cooks up an exciting blend of music that’s based on traditional Sega music from Mauritius and incorporates elements of Jazz and Brazilian music styles.
Cover: 5 Euros
(UNLESS: you tell me ahead of time that you want to come by sending an email with the full names of the guests to philfiker[at]noos[dot]fr and I’ll put you down on THE LIST for a reduced rate of only 3 Euros!!)

Sunday, 26/02, 19h00: Paris – New York Big Band @ Studio de l’Ermitage.

This 17-piece jazz band will present a program of compositions by Wes Montgomery, Georges Gershwin, John Barry, Jaco Pastorius, Stevie Wonder, Bob
Meyer, Sammy Nestico, Serge Gainsbourg, Michel Camilo and others.

Cover: 12 Euros.

Oh yeah: I will be present at both events myself as I’ll be performing with both of these groups.
Would be great fun to see one or the other of you at either of these shows!

Aus einer Zeit, als Sega so wie Nintendo sein wollte. Die hatten ja neben dem Club Magazin schon länger eine Hotline am laufen, bei der man anrufen konnte und sich Tipps holen, wie man den ersten Endgegner bei Zelda platt macht.
Den Sinn von so Hotlines hab ich nie verstanden, wozu gab es denn die ganzen Magazine?
